The following are details specific to Analysis Type: Summary Statistics. 

When you are creating, editing, or duplicating an analysis template for Summary Statistics, the following options are available:

Note:  All options are defaulted to No.  At least one option must be switched to Yes to be able to save the template.

  • Frequency Distributions and Summary Statistics 
    • Produces Frequency Distribution, Summarized Statistics and Graphs for the selected score(s).
    • Setting the toggle to Yes enables score selection in Test Settings for this type of analysis 
  • Bivariate Frequency Distributions
    • Produces a Bivariate Frequency Distribution, Summarized Statistics and Graphs for the selected scores.
    • Requires the selection of two scores in order to calculate the shared sample that exists between the two. 
    • Setting the toggle to Yes enables score selection in Test Settings for this type of analysis
  • Test Score Matrices (Cross Product, Covariance, Correlation) 
    • Produces Test Score Matrices including Cross Product, Covariance, and Correlation for selected scores.
    • A minimum of two scores need to be selected
    • Setting the toggle to Yes enables score selection in Test Settings for this type of analysis
  • Category-Counts
    • Produces counts for desired category(ies)
    • Setting the toggle to Yes enables category selection in Test Settings for this type of analysis
  • Category-Scores Frequency Distribution & Summary Statistics 
    • Produces a Frequency Distribution, Summarized Statistics and Graphs for the selected category based on the selected score(s). 
    • Setting the toggle to Yes enables the category and score selection in Test Settings for this type of analysis

Statistics Tags
Once all required selections in the Analysis Template tab have been entered, the Statistics Tags tab becomes available. 
  • Summary Statistics templates have only test-level tags available to be configured.
  • Tags selected in the analysis template are the default tags used in an analysis request using that template.  Tag overrides can be performed for the following:
    • By item (selecting by item, LIC, or AU) in Tag Statistics (AFTER a request is run).  See Tag Statistics for more information.
