To navigate to the Test Settings module, from the Main Navigation toolbar select Configurations and then Test Settings.
- All PAR users with access to the program will be able to view Test Settings
- Super Admins and PAR Admins for the program are able to create/edit Test Settings
Opening Test Settings will display a list of Test codes and Test Names (sorted in ascending Test Code order) for the program selected in Global Navigation.
- Test and Name columns are both able to be sorted and filtered.
- An Actions column will also be displayed for Super Admins and PAR Admins of the program selected in Global Navigation.
Editing Test Settings
Users with Super Admin or PAR Admin role for the program selected in Global Navigation will be able to edit Test Settings. The Edit link will be available in the Actions column of the table.
Selecting Edit for a test will open Test Settings for the selected test.
- There are two tabs, Analysis Settings and General Settings.
- The window defaults to Analysis Settings.
- In the Analysis Settings tab:
- A list of all approved and enabled Analysis Templates applied to the selected test will display in the following order:
- Analysis Type (i.e. Item Analysis - Classical, Item Analysis - Differential Item Functioning, Summary Statistics) are listed in alphabetical order.
- These are headings that can be collapsed by clicking on the arrow next to the heading (they're expanded by default)
- Under each Analysis Type, the Analysis Templates are listed alphabetically by Analysis Template Name.
- Analysis Type (i.e. Item Analysis - Classical, Item Analysis - Differential Item Functioning, Summary Statistics) are listed in alphabetical order.
- A list of all approved and enabled Analysis Templates applied to the selected test will display in the following order:
- Select a template to edit details
Test Settings for Item Analysis - Classical
Test Settings for Item Analysis - Differential Item Functioning
Test Settings for Summary Statistics
If you do not have any approved and enabled analysis templates applied to this test you will the following message as seen below. "No enabled analysis templates have been assigned to this test. Go to Analysis Templates."
If the test you have selected does not have any Scores or LICs configured in eSKM you will see the following message as seen below. "No Score(s)/LIC(s) exist for this test"
Viewing Test Settings
All PAR users with access to the program selected in Global Navigation will be able to view Test Settings.
To view Test Settings, select a Test Name hyperlink.
Selecting a Test Name hyperlink will open Test Settings in view mode:

NOTE: In view mode, if a user has Super Admin or PAR Admin role for the program selected in Global Navigation they will see an Edit button at the top right of the window. If selected, the display will change to edit mode.
General Settings Tab
This tab displays the Edit to Condition Code Mapping for Constructed Response scoring configured for the program and test.
- Program Level codes override ETS standard codes
- Category = "Program Configuration" for program level overrides
- Test Level codes override Program Level and ETS standard codes
- Category = "Test Configuration" for test level overrides
- Each column is able to be sorted or filtered
- Default sort order is by ascending Edit Code
